First, we will start with either a contact form or a discovery call. This will go over the rough design and scope of the project. We’ll discuss rough budgets and confirm a good fit.

On-Site Consultation

Next is an onsite consultation where you can share your ideas and visions with us. We will collaborate with you to come up with a design and plan to make the most of your space.

Quote Presentation + Deposit

We prepare a 3D rendered image that accurately represents your job and vision and will visit to present the plan and quote. Here we can make minor tweaks and complete our shared vision. Once the quote is signed and the deposit received, we will schedule your job!

Pre - build prep

We take care of all necessary permit drawings, fees and inspections. Don’t worry about anything - we have it covered! Just sit back and enjoy as your design comes to life!

Build + Enjoy

Throughout the entire build process, our construction team will leave the job site clean and organized. When we leave for the day we want your family to enjoy your backyard - without a mess! Have questions? We’re here to answer them.

F.A.Q’s

  • The earlier the better! We are good at what we do, and people love working with us. This may result in having to wait but I can assure you we are with the wait!

  • Decks vary greatly as different designs, materials and features are added. As a general rule, wood decks would start around $50/sq ft and composite would start around $65/sq ft.

  • DRD provides a 2 -year warranty on all workmanship in addition to the warranties provided by decking suppliers; often a 25 or 50-year warranty.

    We also give you a satisfaction guarantee as we won't take your money until you are completely satisfied!

  • Our favorite manufactures to use Premium: Azek Vintage, Midrange - Clubhouse PVC Decking or TimberTech Reserve/Legacy, Budget - TimberTech Terrain

  • Our decks are built with kiln-dried pressure-treated lumber. We space our joist 16” apart for wood decks and typically 12” or 14” for composite/PVC decks. All of our composite/PVC decks come with framing protection tape to ensure the frame will last just as long as the decking.

  • We use helical piers for all of our deck and roof foundations. These piers are installed in one-day mess-free. They are stronger than concrete and do not ever heave.

    All of our helical piers are professionally installed by Techno Metal Post to ensure every project stands the test of time.
